Pokémon Pikachu
Pocket Virtual Pikachu

The Pokémon Pikachu has finally arrived in North America around November 2nd.  The small little virtual Pikachu game is quite unique from other Tamagotchi or virtual pets.  It includes the function of a pedometre, which has made a hit on the market in Japan, a very big one, since the release of Tamagotchi.

The body is in the shape of a game boy, colored yellow, following the one of Pikachu. You can make friend with him by giving him gifts, and see cute
bearings of him on the small liquid crystal screen.  The Pocket Pikachu was released by Nintendo on March 27 in Japan, which was in the news even before the release. Game shops and other different stores which treated productsof Pokémon, and a convenience chain store LAWSON had the ordering systems.  Orders of the product poured in on them, and they were fully booked almost in a week in LAWSON, still having a number of inquiries. They resume orders on the day the games are put on the market, but they were sold out in the midnight of the day.

As  mentioned above, the game has a function of a pedometre. The more you walk, the better you can get along with Pikachu and the more "points" you get.. According to the number of steps you've taken, you can save electricity (in watts), which would be given to Pikachu. And, moreover, you can earn much more watts if you play a slot machine, one of entertaining elements of the game. If you've managed to tame Pikachu, he could make cute gestures for you, such as playing blocks, riding a toy car, licking ice creams and more. A fun way of seeing his daily life through a day. Don't disturb Pikachu while he's sleeping or ignore him too long because he'll get mad at you. To get him happy again, just give him lots of watts and that should do it. He doesn't die or anything but he'll get mad at you if you ignore him for too long. The Pocket Pikachu should sell for about $15-$20 in the U.S. and $25-$30 in Canada.

Pokémon Pikachu Features!!

Pedometre
Pikachu has a built-in pedometre which records all the steps you take.
Clock
A real-time clock which can tell you the time, and is the basis when Pikachu does things. (Sleeping, playing, eating, watching the TV, bathing)
Alarm
A little beep which suits as an alarm. It can be set to any time and is ideal for waking you up when you want a nap.
Auto Shutdown
After a few minutes of being unused, it shuts down to a "standby" mode. This feature saves power and is great if you want a long battery life.
Mini-Game
What could be more fun than slots? Well lots of things, but slots can really be fun if you're waiting in a long line, or just bored.  In these slots, you bet 5 watts and try to get a 3-of-a-kind picture arrangement.
